Probably. I have some long term health issues that never really began before I traveled overseas, but doctors have never really been able to diagnose them properly, even when I went to a tropical medicine specialist.
I also had a few shorter term issues that stuck around a few months after leaving some of the nastier swamps in South America.'Twas a cutlass swipe or an ounce of lead
