There will always be mercenaries paid by the Government in some form or fashion, doing what said gov't cannot openly do, at the risk of being thrown into the fire if they get caught. Governments need mercenaries.

Mercenaries are something that will never go away, and thinking otherwise is stupid. As long as we fight wars, people will do so for profit to themselves. Fighting a war for your country is considered honorable, I don't see whats so wrong about fighting one for you.

Have you ever been in a war zone? Killing 30 people in self defense is extremely possible. I am not guaranteeing it was self defense, but the numbers don't automatically make it suspicious. This isn't like shooting 30 people with handguns, and these weren't police, these guys use a significant amount of firepower, and machine guns are a lot more dangerous in real life than in hollywood.
