The video pretty much speaks for it self.
I don't get how corrupcy like this can exist in the modern world, how statements that sound so ridiculous, and coming from people who are supposed to know (a little) of what they're speaking of, can be so far from reality.

What I'm talking about is the United States House of Representatives committee on science, space and technology.

The video shows nothing but how well the corporate spin on politicians is still doing. And how it makes these grown men sitting in this committee sound like they haven't ever passed kindergarten.

In a political system where everyone has a vote, opinions are swayed by advertisement, there's no qualifications needed for office, representatives are allowed to get funding from anywhere, and no one is held accountable.. This is bound to happen.

Why does it matter? It's irrelevant as long as the video isn't doctored. It might be out of context, but they still asked those questions, which is indefensible if you're a politician in the House of Representatives committee on science, space and technology.
