    PC advice

Hey guys, so im building a new pc on a pretty tight budget so here it is :
    Intel® Core™ i5-4460
    Gigabyte H81M-HD3
    Kingston HyperX Fury White 4GB, DDR3, 1600MHz, CL10, 1.5V x2
    Corsair CP-9020050 550W, ATX2.3
    Sapphire AMD Radeon R9 270 OC Dual-X

So my question to you would be if this would run WoW and other blizzard games good, and other newers games like COD.. Middle Earth shadow of Mordor etc.

If you can bump up your ram amount to 8 gigs you should be fine , also buy ram from a cheaper brand. Other than that don't expect your pc to get the best settings out of newer titles since they require alot of vram (which that r9 270 simply doesn't have)

Blizz games should run smoothly though.

Well I said those rams x2 xD so yea 8 gigs..and Il look into some cheaper ram then ty for the tip. And also I dont want ultra QHD settings on new games dont worrie, I just want a decent gaming rig for a decent buck.

2GB of vram is fine for a single 1080p monitor for any blizzard game at ultra.

You will be fine at mid to high settings unless you have some crazy monitor setup

edit: follow this sticky and get this thread moved to the help subforum.

Spending $190 on the cpu seems silly to me when the 4690k is less than $50 more but I dont know your budget. Seems more reasonable to go with an i3 which should run blizzard games with the settings you want with little to no troubles.

If your below 1080p on a single monitor with mid-high setting mix (no ultra) 2GB of vram should be a non issue.

Well there are more sites I can choose from, I will check prices first. and I can reuse some parts yeah but then I cant sell my PC to get some extra cash, I wanna sell it as a whole you know.+ I dont need peripherals or OS, I just need the PC itself.

750 Ti more than enough for blizzard games. Newer games will probably like the 270 more. I was trying to keep cost to 500 euro.

Just my personal opinion but I dont think getting just an i5 is worth it for blizzard games , i5-4690k being the exception because you can overclock it. Blizzard games don't use the extra threads enough to justify the cost imo. You are better of saving the money and going with an i3 or continue saving and get the i5-4690k.

New games are more likely to be optimized for quad cores and you would see a benefit there but again saving a bit more will get you the 4690k. Someone with more experience with EU online shops could probably throw together a solid 4690k build for 600-750 euro

It comes down to how often you play non blizzard titles and if spending the extra money is worth it to you.

Well If I buy the i3 I wont be buying a PC any time soon (3-5 years ish) so thats why I was looking to buy the i5 and the r9 270, and yes I play other games besides WoW like that new lord of the rings game, world of tanks etc etc
