how do i get elvui to show elites / rares dragon thingy?

on the default ui they show rares and elites with a gold or silver dragon . how do i get it to show on elvui? is there a mod that does so ?

Most custom unit frames disable this because it obviously doesn't fit the theme much. If you really want to you can use the default unit frames by disabling the elvui ones.

Not sure if elv can be configured to show this, but it should have a "rare" text on rare mobs.

Elv said a while ago he will not add it and it would look terrible with the Elv Frames.

It has a + or an R to the right of the mobs name on the target frame for that.
