Of course, but he clearly meant by the end of the cast. For lack of a better word.

Edit: My bad, didn't realise it was covered above already.

This may not be possible, but the idea would be to save CA for each. The problem would be re syncing CA with the next Inc as you would have 1m (with that haste buff for 20s) to reset your CA again (which would mean 40 casts in about 60s)

Its pushing it pretty close but in a low movement fight it may be doable.

Otherwise, you're probably better off using it on CD and letting it resync on the 3rd Inc.

Nvm, I think to get 40 casts off in 60 means all your casts need to be under 1.5s, which it wouldn't be and you'd be behind.

It's best just to use the trinket on CD and let it sync at 6m and 12m. (if it lasts that long) just make sure to save one cast of the trinket with the last cast of Inc

yea i use all 3 at the start and then for the 6min mark i use all 3 again.

Just really annoying how unsynced everything gets with 4set

I made this after realizing what I posted to see diff scenarios, basically it comes down to knowing how long the fight will last.

Since mastery and crit is so close, should I use crit enchants and thunderlord? Is that better for aoe fights and still decent for single target?

Here's something similar i made but you'll have to modify the transition points to match what you use on the spreadsheet. I run it by energy so you'll have to do that conversion yourself. Doesn't take haste into account.
Naming is like... Starfire<80StL - saying its less than 80 energy going from solar to lunar.. something like that.. It's done really ghetto, i could make it to constantly update the haste values for always having the right transition but lazy

    Hey all,

MS healer looking into boomkin as an os. I read through most of this but I am a bit shady on a few things.

    First is trinket selection:

    My current choices are:
    Blackiron Micro Crucible (665)
    Darmac's Unstable Talisman (665)
    Copeland's Clarity (665)

    - Now where I am hazy is why Blackiron is better than Darmac's and Goren Soul. I know that secondaries are better however int is still strong and our secondaries don't appear to be too different in weight.

    Second is talent choices:

I was reading throught this thread (Moonkin-6-1-Stat-Weights-and-BIS-Lists) where it looks like SOTF is better in a lot of situations than incarnation. I have the 4-set so not worrying about cd lineups seems nice to me. It looks like most top logs are still with incarn though.
If someone could give me a little more information about that topic or a link to some where that shows some numbers I would appreciate it!!

The only fights that, theoretically favor SotF are Butcher and Gruul. Both those fights are short, which in practice favor Inc.

Is this guide ever going to be updated, or do we have to get a new one up?

    Hello all
ive a question. Now can we use starfall against 2 targets on lunar eclipse ? Or can we use too on solar eclipse against 2 targets ?

So if i understand, starsurge better ?

If I understand it correctly, your spreadsheet assumes, for example when I'm at 9 Seconds (Euphoria) since Combat, that I'm gonna use both Starfires on the Solar side, right?
Would it be possible to implement it in a way that it simulates a use of Starfire/Wrath at the beginning of the next corresponding eclipse?

Edit: Also it seems like Starsurge is only calculated correctly for the first cycle. If I have Euphoria at 20 seconds there are different values than at 0.

Edit 2: The miscalculation of Starsurge seems to happen because of some approximation error. This could be fixed by checking the Seconds since combat instead of the Lunar Position in F31.

Currently it assumes that you'll cast 2 starfire / 3 wraths after each starsurge (depending on eclipse). Its possible to make it so that it checks the eclipse state before each starfire/wrath and if you're in "wrong" eclipse it'll cast it once you're back at 0 point. Although it still wouldnt be quite accurate but still closer to the truth. I'll check on it once I have time

"approximation error" is something we have to live with, unless I change it to -0.01 or something similar instead of 0 (edit: fixed it, should work just fine now)

Simulationcraft seems to suggest that haste is our strongest secondary stat. Input on this?

(This has been pointed to be as well) It's because we stack Mastery/Crit so anything you run will show Haste ahead. For stat weights you need to use a default set of gear like BiS.

I don't follow. Haste is ahead because we stack mastery/crit? Haste is ahead for BiS, too. In fact, it only pulls farther ahead as item level gets higher.
