Thats the truth man, nothing but the truth. just when will the denial of the facts from the worst president in US history actually go away from the right wingers i just wonder.
Anyone that is objective and fact based can and will see that on pretty much every economic measure Obama is a home run and ranks among the best presidents ever when it comes to result. That you arent seeing much of it in your pocket is just due to trickledown economics not working very well when you are at the bottom of the totempole.
So do the right thing and vote for folks actually working for the other 98% get a Warren or a Sanders or a Grayson elected and even you will hopefully get more $$$ in your pocket.

Same here, i disapprove of a lot of things Obama have done since he is far to conservative on many issues and his constantly caving into the GOP really gets on my nerves. Just wish we had a president that really stood up to the far right better

Oh good, another Bush. What could possibly go wrong?
I think it (people's belief in Obama's non-existent "liberalism") is the result of a combination of factors: his lack of 1950s-era bigotry, the continued public castigation of him for supposedly being "liberal" by the right-wing, and a desperate desire on the part of the public for the message he was selling. (Democratic voters really, really wanted to believe Obama.)
In practice, I'd put Obama a little to the right of Eisenhower and Nixon.
"In today’s America, conservatives who actually want to conserve are as rare as liberals who actually want to liberate. The once-significant language of an earlier era has had the meaning sucked right out of it, the better to serve as camouflage for a kleptocratic feeding frenzy in which both establishment parties participate with equal abandon" (Taking a break from the criminal, incompetent liars at the NSA, to bring you the above political observation, from The Archdruid Report.)
A large part of the issue, here, is that many Americans have forgotten that "left-wing" and "right-wing", and "liberal" and "conservative" as well, have objective meanings. They aren't relative stances. It's totally possible for all parties in an election to be right- or left-wing, to all be liberal or conservative. You can describe them in terms of which is more left- or right-wing, or more liberal or conservative, but a moderate right-wing party remains a moderate right-wing party, even if they seem more left-wing because their competition is a far-right party.

I wouldn't vote for anyone running as republican or democrat. This is the entire problem with our system. This 2 party system is exactly how we are kept thinking we actually have a choice when choice is actually an illusion to keep us in line. What major difference between the 2 systems are actually anything that means something real? Not the fluff that they harp on when talking about the differences. At heart they are both the same and are both on a plan to eventually fail. I will vote 3rd party/independent depending on who I think best represents what this country is supposed to be about and on their past actions. If their history shows that what they say isn't what they do......they are straight out.
On the subject of Hillary & Jeb.
Only a fool would vote for either of these snakes. Nothing would change. Nothing would get better.
Isent sad how we have so many authoritarians.
My belief is Libertarians embody the original concept of america, and authoritarians are corrupting and destroying this country, turning it into an extremely hypocritical world police.
Arguably the Democratic Party is an Authoritarian Left party, while the Republican party is Authoritarian Right. By contrast, the Tea Party (in concept) is a Libertarian Right party (in practice it's a Koch brothers lobbying group), and Occupy Wall Street is/was a Libertarian Left movement.

Across the full political ideology spectrum yes - the democrats are on the right, and the conservative republicans are humping the right boundary of the compass.
Within the US's much smaller political compass, the democrats are the left-most party (perhaps what I should have called them) - but that's because the US political spectrum fits inside the upper right quadrant of political ideologies.
