blue.mmo-champion page is being overlapped by your targeted ads on Chrome.

Can't click the source or Blizzard icon. Everywhere on the page points to something like this.

it sounds more like adware than something with the site.

OS/Chrome Version/Trying without any extensions would be helpful.

I'm actually seeing this in Chrome and Firefox. The banner add has a page size of 100% width 100% height. (I can manually delete that node through inspect element and then use it as normal)

Edit: my Firefox install is completely vanilla.

It must have something to do with the specific ad then (maybe OS too), any info you can find on that (http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...orting-bad-ads) would be helpful.

Windows 7 64-bit. Chrome Version 38.0.2125.111 m (64-bit). I experienced it at work but at home now. No extensions at all.
Happens on Firefox version 31 also. Just updated to 33.02 and same thing. Here's a screenshot.

My mouse is on the word "Random" in the first post about Just won a Random Isle. The only place this isn't appearing is if you scroll all the way to the bottom where the gray bar has the Back to Top button. Underneath that bar is safe.

    Very weird.

Curse needs to produce their own clean, quiet and friendly add source - so that I can deflag sites like MMO-C from my adblocker.

Tried it at work and at home. Both produced the same results. Tried in Chrome and IE. OS is windows 7. Still the same thing.

Anywhere you click directs you to the background ad.

Looking at the page code, I can fix that by removing style="display:block;z-index:0;position:fixed;width:100%;height:100%;top:0;left:0" from the contents of the div with id="skin", or just deleting the whole div node from the rendering. Granted, each time i load the page I have to do that, but it works at least. (via right click -> inspect element in chrome and firefox)

That last coment works for me as well but its super annoying to have to do on every page I go to. I am also using windows 7 with chrome Version 38.0.2125.111 m. The site works fine in internet explorer but not chrome. I have no extensions at all on chrome either.

Kept getting directed to this http://www.curse.com/civilization-beyond-earth when browsing the DK forums. Every time i tried to click on a topic within that forum it just ended up me being on that site..

A quick reload and enabling my Ad-block solved it. Using Latest chrome on Windows 8.1 Fully upto-date and clean installed from a clean OEM ISO from MS last week, no spyware on this machine or anything at all.

Clear your cache, we made a change to ads that would do this if you have old things cached.

I have the same issue but for all links on m phone. My computer has adblock so doesn't have that issue. Wish phones could have adblock too Annoying such as this is why I have adblocker installed.
