    best spec for aoe farming?

    for old raids and stuff what spec do you guys use? i feel my marksman is prety bad at it : (

    I like survival for old content, assuming it is fairly trivial. You don't need to wait for the pet to get there. You can multi a pack and leave the serpent spread dot finish off any leftovers with multiple packs in multiple directions.

    I run Survival with Barrel aswell.. Pull a large pack/ the entire raid if possible, and then just hit that Barrel keybind.. Easypeasy... You just stand there!

    Depends, as mentioned above Surv seems best for really old content, anything ICC and under I run Surv personally.

    Cata and greater I feel BM is better.

    BM spec + Barrage + MS spam (which procs Beast cleave) is my preferred setup.

    There is only one viable hunter spec for aoe dmg and that is BM :P
