Non-Heirlooms gear slots and leveling

doing low level pvp is fun. but when you get to a certain point, youre still rocking starting whites in slots that werent filled by an heirloom, if you even managed to pick up a piece of that slot at all. The AH is ridiculous because low level greens and blues go for an outrageous amount. Is there an easy way to keep up those non-heirloom slots up to par that im missing?

Quest/Dungeon/Craft/AH, pretty much anything that isn't low-level PvP.

In which case, you don't get any gear nor gold. Can't really buy them, can't really craft them (No profession items in BGs), don't get quest rewards...

You're left with waiting until the level requirements on the PvP pieces and only using those. Some of which overlap with heirlooms.

Well WSG has Rings/Necks/Bracers starting at 40, AB has Boots/Belts. Assuming you have full heirlooms you are literally only left missing gloves.

You managed to get heirlooms, you can manage to farm or buy some gear o_o

I suppose. You're still talking 10 levels in between each set though, and that can be a pretty major difference in stats. The Vanilla stuff didn't get squished much.

With the way the upscaling works though its not nearly as punishing as it used to be.

Run dungeons and need on anything in those slots with the appropriate stats you need on them regardless of the armor type. This only works if you're not a clothie though because they're limited to cloth lol.

did they remove the Vanilla pvp vendors? WSG and AB vendors in their respective zones sell armour for lvl 18/28/38 etc, they should be good enough for a while. They don't cover all non heriloom slots, but they cover most, you'll only be missing gloves if I'm correct

Costs 20 honor. Level 18 required. Basically a new version every 10 levels which is convenient since you get scaled on 10 level increments.

Point is, there are options. Go look for them.
