    New Build

Hey guys, looking to make my first custom build PC. Mostly just looking for any advice around a list that I've already compiled and the information provided. I've shopped around using pcpartpicker and manually to check with and without shipping etc.

Budget: £1000 (including peripherals and a monitor)
    Resolution: 1080 at least.
Games / Settings Desired: I currently only play WoW, but with the new PC I'd like to play Far Cry 4, Evolve etc. on High at least.
    Country: UK
Parts that can be reused: None
Do you need peripherals?: Mouse, Keyboard and Monitor.

    CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Amazon - £167.90
CPU Cooler: be quiet! Shadow Rock 2 Amazon - £36.70
Motherboard: MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming ATX CCL - £96.30
    Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 novatech - £67.99 (cheaper at eBuyer but no stock)
    SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB Amazon - £54.29
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB Amazon - £39.99
    GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr V eBuyer - £274.98
    Case: Corsair 200R Amazon - £44.99
    PSU: XFX XTR 550W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular more computers - £56.33

    Peripherals
    Monitor: BenQ GL2450HM 60Hz 24" Amazon - £109.99
Keyboard: Steelseries Apex RAW eBuyer- £31.17
Mouse: Cooler Master Recon eBuyer - £35.06

    Total: £1,015.69

I have a question regarding the GFX card I've linked there, how capable is that card? How long would it roughly be relevant at playing games to a high detail? I ask this as I was maybe looking to trim some money off and get a slightly lower spec card.

    - The setup is fine tho i would just get a better monitor, with this rig at least a good IPS one. If you could exclude then keyboard for about 1k you can fit that, even with 256gb ssd.

    - Yes the gpu is worth it, it will let you max games for the next few years.

    - I would consider the following even if it doesnt include the keyboard, cause you don't just buy monitors everyday and keyboard can come little later. Up to you.

Thanks Kostatattoo, I currently don't have a keyboard as I'm coming from a laptop, I should be able to stretch the budget to include the better monitor, is there any others you would suggest for around the £200-250 mark?

Thanks, I'm just not very knowledgable when it comes to PC parts.

There is no reason to go for more expensive monitor @ 60hz. Maybe the Dell U2414H which has the same specs as the "P" i linked but comes better optimised out of the box but thats about it. Might not worth the extra cost.
