    Will this SSD work for my motherboard?

    hi there
    i am currently running a ASUS Maximus V GENE Motherboard and would like to add this SSD to my PC, will i be able to use it without any issues ? ( im a pc noob and have no clue really ) also living in australia btw

    Shouldn't be a problem at all, the drives SATA and the board has SATA ports. You'll be fine as long as you have the proper power connectors.

    So long as the motherboard has SATA ports, yeah it will work.

    Yes it will work just fine, however I would recommend paying a little bit more and pick this up instead, very reliable and good performing:

    Crucial MX100 256GB $139

    There is a reason those drives are so cheap, the SSDNow lines is not one I'd ever go with.

    In before, I own one and have had no issues...

    That and the V300 is just simply older and slower than the MX100 while not really saving much money.

    i am probably going with the MX100, i dont mind spend a little extra cash for it as long its performing well

    Definitely and it's one of the most reliable cheapish consumer drives.
