It's the logo of Raynor's Raiders from Starcraft.

I am fairly certain that only like three or four development houses can afford to make a trailer cinematic such as Blizzard did for Overwatch.

    So ostentatious. Almost six minutes.

Yea, Blizzard produce the best cinematics I have ever seen in the industry of video games. It's the money. They are just so filthy flippin' rich.

Animation of that quality is not cheap to produce. Of that length, for a game developer?

I am quite sure the cost of the Overwatch cinematic eclipses the entire marketing budget of 99% of the industry. Really only a handful of studios can afford to make cinematics this high quality & length... and make as many of them- Blizzard create a lot cinematic showstoppers.

Shame they didn't find the budget to give D3's xpac a decent cinematic ending... that really pissed me off.

Also I wonder if the robot or suit of armor with the sword we keep seeing as one of the characters got cut? Shame if so, that's more my style.

There are several characters shown in art and in cinematics that aren't in the game
yet- I assume they're on the short list for being added in; as Blizz said they have
lots more heroes they'll be adding.

Blizz have always made the best cinematics, Diablo 1/2 and Starcraft were mind-blowing when they first came out.

I like all the little Blizzard shout outs in the cinematic. That logo, the guard playing Hearthstone.

Is it me only or does it have X-Man feeling attached to it? A Gorilla-Man with glasses for example.

I'm sad that this game will be translated to German and Russian only (most likely). (based on "careers" page)

IMO the budget they put into the cine was impressive and all, but the real reason Blizzard's cinematics stick with you is the emotional resonance they have and the amount of story they tell. Plus little loving touches (eg that Raynor logo) and moments of character humour (the security guard playing HS in the middle of a deadly gun battle cracked me up).

I detect strong traces of Pixar's legacy in this trailer. That is a good thing.

I remember the cinematics for Warcraft III blew me away.

Now they kind of look crappy!

Yeah character wise he has a strong "Beast" vibe. Design wise he makes me think of Tom Strong.

Tracer makes me think of Jubilee, Widowmaker has a certain Mystique to her, there's a Colossal metal dude, short furry berserker type dude, cyber-cowboy who could pass as Gambit.
