    Changing case

So i recently bought a 980 reference card, and loving it thus far.
My Corsair Carbide Air 540 is taking to much room where i live, so i need to replace it.
Was thinking of getting a Fractal R4, but i have some questions i hope you can answer for me

1: How much of an issue is airflow in this case with 1-2 980 cards?
2: Will i be able to fit my Cooler Master Seidon 240M cooler inside the case without needing to modify it?
3: Will there be a noticeable noise difference from my Air 540?

    Thanks in advance

Is the Define R4 really smaller than the Corsair Air 540? It is not as wide, but it is taller and deeper...

    1. Airflow with any single video card should be no problem, especially with the fairly low power draw GTX 980. I have the Define R4 with a single GTX 770 and have no problems (the GTX 980 has a slightly lower power draw than the 770). SLI should be okay with 980s, especially with reference design coolers.

    2. Theoretically, the Define R4 has the the possibility to mount a 240 rad in the roof.

As you can see, it is a tight fit. Possible problems:
    - Motherboard clearance (e.g. tall ram heatsinks, tall VRM heatsinks, CPU power connector)
    - Rear fan: depending on the orientation and the attachment size of the rad, it might collide with the rear fan.
    - Optical drives: The top space is most likely not usable, the bottom one maybe too.

You can also mount the rad in the front, but you would need to take out the hard drive bays.

    3. The Define R4 will most likely be a bit quieter, but that really depends on a lot of factors.
Why do something simple, when there is a complicated way?
