Actually it's about eth...
Whoops, thought I was in the offtopic section.
I am the one who knocks ... because I need your permission to enter.
I can agree with it actually. There's so little variety in the female characters, whilst the male ones are very different. Though at the same time, all the male characters are super buff and strong.
As someone who hates their body (every aspect of it) I could care less. I would rather play a character that is 'attractive' then one that's an extension of my reality. I guess it's a good thing you're championing a non-issue... Seriously.

I don't have exact statistics, but if you'd ever played WoW you'd know what I am talking about.
What are the most popular female WoW races? The attractive, thin, generously proportionate human-esque races (Human, Night Elf, Blood Elf and in the case of cute; Gnomes and Pandaren) or the animalistic, different or chubby races (Dwarves, Tauren, Orcs, Goblins and Trolls).
"If you want to control people, if you want to feed them a pack of lies and dominate them, keep them ignorant. For me, literacy means freedom." - LaVar Burton.
You don't have to 'learn to accept' anything. Stop grudgingly accepting things you don't approve of, as if you don't have a hundred other gaming options available to you.
If you don't like a company's practices, then don't support the company -- whether it's financially or through social media exposure, such as threads like this. Period. You've heard of the phrase, "All press is good press," right?

This is like the HuffPo pages trying to get Disney to animate people that look like "Real" Women.
You know, implying that if you aren't average, you're a freak, not a human. Gotta go for that lowest common denominator.
I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutesOr should I?
