Winter is here, be careful! (N Hemisphere people!)

Seriously, be careful out there. My state got its first snow storm of the year recently and there were so many accidents and spinouts and people in the ditch, it was off the chain. Every year it is the same thing, people forget that you have to take it a bit easier in the winter.

The only positive thing from this is seeing people in their big trucks in the ditch, stuck. Your big trucks won't protect you if you drive like a complete idiot still people!

Myself? I drove a bit slower then usual, gave people more space in front of and on the sides of me where applicable. I slid on some ice and landed on my butt while walking though

Winter is NOT EVEN CLOSE here..

We're 5-7 degrees above average for November, and every indication is, that this will be just as hot at last winter..

I prefer the Winter just because it is easier to control our body/house temperature.

If it is really cold, you can turn your heat UP or put some cloths on and you should be fine.
During the Summer, you could be technically naked and still be very hot (40ºC during the Summer for a week in Portugal is awesome). You can use as well fans to cool the air, but for some reason, but it is not the same thing.

Winter? I can remember that from back when I was young, thanks to climate change, we don't have winters anymore. Its basicly a double autumn followed by a tropical rain season.

Personally I don't mind the actual weather, but the absolute idiots driving in it. here is a simulation of what I think is going through their heads "Hurrr durr I gots me a 4 wheel drive truck but I'm in rear wheel drive at the moment; I think I'll gun my engine when the light turns green, spin out and sideswipe the guy in the next lane! FOUR WHEEL DRIVE!!!!"
