Was the trading posts changed?
The front page post explaining them said: Level 1 - Allows the trade of crafting reagents for garrison resources and vice versa, for a profit!

Currently ingame, I have a workorder taking 5 starflower for 20 resources.
5 starflower costs 30 resources.

Where is the profit?

Edit: Didn't notice profession subforum was changed to professions and garrisons, can a mod please move this?

Don't see the "for a profit" part anywhere. But having a favorable exchange rate wouldn't work. You could just exchange them repeatedly for infinite resources and herbs, and that would leave no economy. Only way you'll make a profit is by buying herbs and selling them on the AH.

Work orders have a timer, so it wouldn't "destroy the economy" more than lumber mill to get resources, then spending them to get mats in trading post

Maybe not blizzard, but all the guides and even the front page post here on mmochamp

If you purchase the crafting reagents for a work order, you have a net gain of 20 - 80 garrison resources.
