first thoughts that come to mind.
1) hacking twitter accounts doesn't seem like it would prove kkk membership, just someone that follows what the klan is doing and might be doing it for their own safety. IE a black guy can follow the kkk on twitter. So can gangs, and as thus, if they know there's a rally could potentially do so to go on a killing spree.
2) picture of a police rally doesn't mean anything in terms of police being kkk. It just means they were out in public supporting their fellow officer. Not unlike the Black Panthers that invaded Ferguson and caused a lot of the violence. Same follows that most of the african americans didn't agree with the tactics of those Black Panthers and/or Al Sharpton who hired them and bussed them in.
Those aren't any uniforms of St Louis or surrounding area officer uniforms. I know the uniforms of the 6 surrounding counties, an none wear them, so right off the bat that is a shit link with mis-information.

I assume the same reason everyone else does. Social media is an easy tool to recruit.

Just above the hateful people they are forced to protect.
Did I say most? I believe I used the word many, which doesn't have a number attached to it, let alone a number denoting over half. 100 cops is too many, 50 is too many, and we end up with 400 innocent people shot by cops yearly (according to the department of justice)
The minority gets away with the crimes because of our justice system and the police around them that do not stand up for what is right.
