Over the years we've seen combustion changed in a few different ways. It used to be that combustion, when used, would have a stacking crit buff of 5% crit per cast until 3 crits happened (if memory serves me correctly). In it's current iteration, combustion basically copies ignite ticks and duplicates the ticks over 20 seconds.

In order for combustion to be most effective, you pretty much are required to have some sort of ignite addon tracker... or predicter, which sometimes has you fishing for the ignites and can have a high probability of using combustion at the wrong time or with a lower than intended ignite.

My idea for a change would be when you cast combustion, your next 3 pyroblast crits would produce ignites by a factor of X. Depending on how the math worked out, x could be double, triple, quadruple, or whatever number would make it balanced and still feel like a dps CD.

This would fix the issue of combustion being so clunky, where a random non crit in a string of crits could ruin your ignite value.

What about you guys? If you could change how it works, what would you change about it?
