The 280X is a much better card than the 760 (more than the $20 difference) considering it trades blows with the 770.

Yea that's about as good as it's going to get without resulting to dropping down to a Pentium or i3 processor.

What build is it that want that is 1k more though? Assuming you can manage to overclock the CPU to ~4.4Ghz, you aren't going to be able to get better performance in WoW than this. 4790k is the only thing that could help but it's only assuming you couldn't get the 4690k to an equal clock as the 4790k.

Honestly though, I would recommend you add a SSD to that build for ~$110 if you can afford it. Would make a world of difference for Windows, WoW, and even general browsing on the internet.

There we go. That looks like the absolute cheapest I'll be able to get WoW on ultra settings for.

The cheaper build has only things I absolutely need to play WoW, while the other build has things I'd like to have.

Ah well you can't really count furniture in with the price of a build :P

Yeah it's easier to keep track and less confusing if you just leave all the gaming and furniture stuff.

Pcpartpicker is fun, lol. Min/maxing these builds is like playing WoW.

Yeah those seem better but as i said earlier i would get the better mobo with with i5 and lower end with i7. Reason being you don't have to overclock the i7 at all to play wow. I got mine at 4.4 during Mythic it was running much lower than before. I never went over 70-75% single core load during it. I've no idea what they moved load to gpu means cause that runs low as well but yeah... things got better than before.

Maybe in 30mans is where you will be able to see the extra power.
