Stealth nerf to the scavenger trait ?

i have always done my garrison resources missions with my lvl100 follower with the scavenger trait (http://www.wowhead.com/garrisonability=79)
it doesnt matter if the traits doesnt match the mission. u will get on those missions a probability between 50% and 59%, but i have lost my last 8 missions in a row, did i get the unluckiest streak ever or did they change something ?

Scavenger has nothing to do with winning or losing a mission, as you say yourself. Bad luck.

Completed my last 3 of 4 GR missions with my scavenger trait all in the 50ish%s, basically do like you. Just send that follower into them all

If the percentage is the same, then it's just an unlucky streaks it sounds like unless they hotfixed something in without the UI changing, but in that case they would of stuck it in the patch notes probably.

the successrate of your mission depends entirely on whether or not you use followers that can counter the traits of the "bosses", anything below 100% will have a chance to fail, ive personally had missions with a 23% chance succeed and had missions with 90+% fail, so its random, you've just had some bad luck and if you dislike being at the mercy of RNG, then remember to use the proper followers to counter the right boss traits.

I failed a 20k bonus exp mission at 85%... Bad RNG is RNG.

I've also sent a level 98 scavenger follower on a 99 rare solo mission for 130 GR on 51% or so and recieved 390 GR.

Anyone else live life on the edge and send followers on low ass % missions? I personally don't send followers on anything under 50%. Me and my friends have a laugh though and do the odd occasional "attempt to be lucky" mission at 20 or so % :P Fun times!

I mix and match followers to missions based on rewards and success chances at first. I end up with missions and followers that don't match, but I just assign them regardless if they're not epic level 100 yet. Having non-maxed followers sitting idles is worse than getting at least some XP, if you're not stressing for resources.

always send scavengers on garrison resource missions, hopefully the traits match but even if they dont its still a decent gamble. 10 resources used for a chance of over 100? hell ya.

Something to note, the success rate isn't exactly accurate, the more enemies on a mission the more opportunities you have to fail. It checks for each enemy. A 50% success rate with 3 enemies has a much lower than 50% chance to succeed since failing any one of those 3 checks fails the mission.
