Hello, I'm having a hard time recalling the name of this movie.
Basically, this is what I remember from it; It's about a Sniper in the army, returning home to the US after serving in Iraq(?).
And while he was over there he killed some Iraqish warlords or w/e, without getting prison or anything.
When he returns to the US he is set up, looking like he had killed a few "random" people with a sniper.
I know this is not much to go on, but its all I remember! Thank you very much if you know this movie.

Shooter was about a former army sniper being recruited to protect the president from an assassination attempt, then instead being framed FOR the assassination attempt. Had nothing to do with Iraqi warlords or him killing "random people".

The OP's description actually sounds a lot like an episode of some procedural on TV, I think NCIS(but could be Criminal Minds).

Actually, now that the other guy mentioned it, it does sound like Jack Reacher.
