Lag/Framerate Issues Post WoD?

Is anyone else experiencing some rather serious lag/framerate pulsing issues since the xpac went live?

I was running everything on max with no issue at all pre-xpac, but since the launch I can hardly dps through the stutter. This lag even effects my sound, to the point that music/voices crackle and lag.

I'm not sure wtf happened here. I've asked friends and pug if they're getting the same and no one seems to be. Anyone have any idea what could be going on here?

System specs btw:

i7-4790k @4.0 GHz
8 GB ram
Windows 8.1 64bit
MSI Nvidea GeForce GTX 760 (Twin Frozr)

Try repairing your install? I had some crappy framerate issues (though nothing with the sound) after patching my game, so I just did a fresh reinstall and all was well.

I only lag on my druid. Other toons are fine. Weird.

Yeah I did a fresh install and it's still shot. Gonna assume it's on Blizz's end and hope they get this together soon.
