This SSD a good deal?

Looking to get a SSD this friday because i currently run 2 normal 1tb hardrives.

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16820167190 is 54% off for me in Canada. how solid is this model? Also thinking of getting http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16820167192 but not sure yet. Anyone got any insight? I have no idea whats good for a SSD / specs.

Also will i need to have a fan on these? Do they run hotter then normal harddrives? I'm assuming this is all compatible with my system.

Personally, I have www(dot)directcanada(dot)com/products/?sku=16950DR2766, I haven't had any problems with ADATA yet. I've owned 3 of them and all 3 are still working fine.

SSD's run cooler than normal hard drives and WILL NOT require any additional cooling.

Wondering since I have to reformat my OS to SSD and re install wow. on the SSD. should i just pickup win 8.1 now for the free upgrade to 10 when it comes out?What do you guys think.
