    It depends what you mean morally descent...

    I always keep my word if thats it. If it is about helping other people etc nope thats not me.

    I consider myself observant good, based on my observations and with the information I have gathered on any given issue I make a moral choice that suits the issue or situation.

    Why should it be considered good to sacrifice that what you love (family, friends, ...) over something that you can't even define (Greater good. For whom?) or the random 100 strangers that mean nothing to you.
