Guess they will work like they did in MoP: Just a few minutes, but you'll only get loot once per week.

I did. Yet still I don't get why everything in WoD costs so much gold. Garrison alone is a huge drain on my resources.

Sure players with 6 or 7 figure gold accounts won't care, but WoD is no addon for the poor.

To be honest gold is super easy to get now compare to previous expansions.

Agree. Just leveling 90-100 I got some good 10k; let alone dungeons, dailies, quests past 100, extra treasures, missions, salvage yard and seeling random drops.

Started WoD with barely any gold (bought the Mammoth just before release) and now I'm back to nearly 10k, plus I've bought a Dalaran port ring and 3xSands of Time in the meantime (which is like 16k together), so the whole of WoD is around 25k g net gain... I do upgrade my garrison as much as possible and have already changed 2 buildings in the meantime, which I had to upgrade up again. Pro tip - go solo some cata 25hcs - they give like 200-300g per boss (125g looted + load of epic drops).

Yup. I started playing a fresh char (started with 0 gold) 1 1/2 months before the xpac and now I have 112K gold. I also bought all types of flying, got some MoP mounts, etc.

Anyone know how the normal lockout works? If for example I kill 3 bosses, can I then run with a new group and re-do those bosses (without chance for loot ofc) and then continue further? Or it will be the usual lockout?

Normal/heroic/mythic do not have enforced ilvl requirements (i.e. you're free to enter and die as much as you'd like because of lacking gear), right?

I agree. char boosted a new hunter on my friends server the day wod launched and grabbed insc and sitting atm at 160k gold on that char. Love when new expansions launch
