Weapon Speed, does it matter for Feral?

Pretty much what my title says, I got a 620 pvp agi staff from a gold box when I first hit 100 it has 2.00 wep speed but 0.3 less dps than the polearm, what's the difference they both have the same stats except for wep speed, does it matter?

weapon speed doesnt matter at all

If I recall from before, the weapons are mainly a stat stick, and you just go by damage range rather than weapon speed as cat attack speed is normalized.

Weapon dps is all that matters when comparing weapon damage, so a 2.00 speed weapon with 100 dps is better than a 3.6 weapon with 80 dps. (although stats are obviously important when comparing two similar dps weapons)

edit: as far as your problem though, 0.3 dps is hardly a difference but if you want to max dps then take that one.
