Are we approaching a Solo Raid WoW Experience?
Did I pick the wrong expansion to play mage?

Has anyone else noticed that there is usually a completely separate set of PvP gear at the vendor or out of strongboxes that doesn't fulfill set bonus requirements? They don't even have the set information listed on them. In some cases they have different stats, but in others, the stats are exactly identical.
Does anyone know why this is?

There is currently bug where set bonuses are not shown correctly - try relogging

Have you checked if it's actually the same name? As in same not as in DERPDERPSAEMNAMEWHAT?!
(For example druids have dragonhide armor and unnamed armor available)
