Help me to improve my Frost Mage Opening

Hi guys, i would want a good recommendation about my opening.
Recently ive been losing against people who has lower gear than me and im kinda worry about it, probably im doing something wrong.

Ive check tons of guide, in resume this is what i do Using IN MI PC.

1) Prepot + 1 charge frostbolt before enter in combat

2) Pop my Macro [IV, Berserker (Trolls Racial), MI] then Frost Orb asap!

3) Use PC near Boss and spam Ice lance then follow with standar Rotation

I ll appreciate a good advice and also im confuse what to do with water elemental, there are some stuff about the channeling power that is not good to use it while Frosen Orb is working

You should use MI, potion a and frostbolt prepull than you are correct.

Water jet at elemental is better to save when your frost orb ends since you dont cast many frostbolts during frozen orb so you lose 2 FoF from water jet
