    Offhand. Also, I write this sentence to have at least written 10 characters in this post, so that I am able to hit the "send" button.

    Funny, but not funny. Had a guy in a heroic with a 2h in MH and 1h in OH. #facepalm

    For patchwerk, offhand, for anything else, mainhand.

    I still think it would be cool if this could actually work somehow, but yeah....epic facepalm every time I see someone actually doing it.

    Is this just the general consensus, not based on talent choices or anything? Always better weapon in Offhand?

    I'm assuming it's because of wild strike being an offhand attack, and how often it's used.

    FS boosts your offhand strike percentage that it may be worth having your higher item level weapon in your offhand.

    I think it depends on if you have the Furious Strikes talent. I think you'll have more damage from regular attacks with a strong MH weapon and more from Execute, which might be good for Sudden Death. Most of the damage from other abilities, like Raging Blow for example is MH too though I'm not sure if that matters since stronger OH will still mean more damage from it overall as will stronger MH.

    Both Execute and Raging Blow strike with both hands, it's just that the OH penalty applies to them (either 0.625x as TG, or 0.75x as SMF).

    I tried it last night on butcher and wasn't impressed with the results. I'll have to sim it. Should be pretty easy.

    For me, it sims as OHand dps being the most important. Guess it really means you have to sim it yourself to be utterly sure, else go with bestweapon -> Offhand

    I simmed my warri with these weapons raidbuffed (SMF / SD):

    676 MH + 646 OH ---> 25759 DPS

    646 MH + 676 OH ---> 25874 DPS

    (25874-25759)/25759 = 0.44% does it really matter?

    I mean 25.8k is your theoretical (spelling?) dps if you have zero latency, you press every button as soon as it's off CD etc etc etc but in reality you will lose waaaaay more than those 0.44% just because of network/brain latency. no?

    I simmed it with my current profile as SMF.

    I used the basic all buffs, all debuffs, patchwerk defaults in SimCraft:

    670 in MH (655 OH) = 22,798 DPS

    655 in HH (670 OH) - 22,866 DPS

    Just wanted to add some first numbers to this thread

    Wouldnt it be worth to switch my weapons >20% in addition? What you think?
