That's all. Ysera is going to be replaced!

We have wildly differing definitions of guaranteed.

To op: Ysera was always one of the weaker/replaceable cards in warrior control. With the influx of GvG cards, I wouldn't be surprised for it to be among the first cards to be replaced.

No way Ysera is the weakest.

    4 attack - check
12 defense - hard to kill
This card is a must be killed. Even silence, that is still 4 dmg.

Too slow, and now can be stolen or destroyed with Shrinkmeister + Cabal/Shadow Word Pain

not really guaranteed. in about 50% of my games they pick up the mine, and when they do its awesome

depends on how early you drop it. Late game the chances go up significantly

also i found something interesting out if you cast bouncing blades with comanding shout up and only your minions on the board the blades will bounce around until it fails to kill a minion (if it tries to bring it to 0 but can't it stops the spell).

I never understood people who say this.
Its a control deck. What big body legendary do you recommend instead then?
We are talking about a top-deck game changer.
Maybe you guys don't have need for this too often, but pretty much every time I play Ysera it helps me make a big play a following turn.
Now, that being said, I don't think its right for Control Warrior.
I use Alex exclusively for this slot, and for one very simple reason.
The way the games go I either win easily with boardcontrol early-mid game, or I am trading evenly for 10+ turns and alex comes down and removes 1/2 his life.
Ysera, on the other hand, would give me tools that a typical control deck would love, but not warrior.
I feel like Warrior has the tools needed, and some times just needs the health pool to reach an acceptable level before he can use them.

Also, I would really consider Juggernaut.
It seems like a lot of people over look it, but it turns the tides so incredibly heavily in control v control match ups.
Got at least 3 games out of the 10-15 I've played warrior where drawing the bomb ends the game - either by putting it in range of lethal, or flat out overkilling.

Generally when you play your Big Legendary you want to end if ast. ysera is a bit slow I feel.

She's not WEAK, but you're outdated.

4 attack used to be a priest counter-measure, now it's a "priest can steal this on turn 8" marker.

Before it was just mind control bait

Thing is, the nature of Ysera doesn't really fit with control war. For one thing you play relatively few minions because you're so heavy on control which means your opponent probably has plenty of hard removal ready to eat your Ysera by the time you play it, so really you just get the one spell out of it most of the time.

Ysera is a strong card and can work in control war, but IMO it's not one of the better cards and I would happily swap it out.

Priests that run MC are what I would call "breakfast".

Only the slowest priest decks run Mind Control, while Cabals and Shrinkmeisters are in literally everything, maybe except super-aggro priest(which I never saw in action).

Currently I would rather have Dr Boom or Sneeds in my deck, but if you have both of those and still somehow have room then sure. Otherwise yea it's mostly been replaced.
