BTW the fight is exactly the same on normal/hc so that makes on difference.

Except that normal fights are more than minute shorter. And you're right, maybe it wasnt 26k that I did. But that's the number that skada showed me

The 40 people with higher dps than you have a 1 minute shorter kill than you and 7-10 ilvls higher.

There seems to be something wrong with your gameplay then I suppose, or it's possible that the fights just take so long that your dps drops. Are you using your cooldowns properly? Including water elementals water jet. I did 26k on butcher with 637 ilvl this week, granted the fight only lasted about 4 minutes. But I would say that with 640ilvl you should be pulling above 20k in most of the encounters.

Curious what your thoughts would be for my mage as well. 649 ilvl, frost obv. Last night when doing a pug normal for the lols I did 25.9k on butcher, and around 22.5k (don't quite remember) on twin ogron.

I am just curious what that will compare to other frost mages around that ilvl and if that is good compared to the sims close to that ilvl. Sadly I do not have logs though I thought I would as of last night (something happened when I was logging).

This is why I deleted my earlier comment... The numbers people are throwing around are either stroking their epeen completely (HURHUR MY DPS IS SO HIGH I'M IN THE TOP 1% FOR A FIGHT) or they're fake....

That's a log with ilvl 632 doing 25.2k, though it is nested in a fight where just about everyone else is much higher ilvl.

I think 20k-25k range for ilv640 seems about right in most case. However you also have to take into account itemization. What I try to mean is that even on ilv 650 you still may have some dungeon gear ( 630, 636) and there secondary stats are just too much RNG. Let's say you have a 636 bracers with cri,multistrike + socket , mean while 655 bracers in highmaul is haste versatility ( the 655 is better due to higher ilv , more int,stm and stats , but not that of a big different). It's hard to say in that case.

It's much easier when you go to higher ilv range where everyone have the same gear + itemization. It's much easier to compare how good or bad you are in that case.

Dude's rocking a 670 weapon on his armory now, can't really see what he using before. I will say that the fight was exactly long enough to get maximum uptime of MI (he had nearly 50% uptime); outside of that, doesn't really look like he had super good RNG on anything.

So given that I just ran HM again with 640 ilvl I stand by the dps that I previously said in here. This time with 3ilvl better gear did 28k dps in 3 min fight

It actually might be the skada really, although when I downloaded the new one it looked to be the same. Gonna have to try it again later and see
