Best way to watch Netflix on my TV?

My smart TV is no longer supporting Netflix app for some reason due to LG not supporting the updates or something.

I like the look off the amazon TV stick but its not out here in the UK.

I don't have a games console so whats the best box to watch Netflix on?

    Cheers

Chromecast is cheap, and very easy to use.

    Highly recommend it.

Pft, you get a game console, specifically the Wii U, so then you can switch to the controller to watch obviously!

Personally that's what I do, but I don't know if that would be much help to you.

    An HTPC perhaps?

Connect it's HDMI to your PC.

Also...you get a badass gaming monitor out of the deal.

I have both a Roku 3 and a Western Digital TV Live.

For pure streaming, the Ruku 3 is excellent and is either among the best if not THE best at this with a smooth menu and more possible channels then you can imagine, you can find websites with their own private channels too to an extent. But its ability to play off a USB sucks out loud.

The Western Digital TV Live, its menu is clunky some with a delay and apps do have some hiccups but does what you need and when it comes to playing off a USB or a Network Share, this things plays almost every format under the sun. Lacks the shear number of channels for the Roku (Everything does) but it does have the main ones.

Both of them are about $100, if you go roku, don't get the original or Roku 2, go for the Roku 3, it has the much smoother setup, the other ones are clunky as well while the Roku 3 is great.

Roku or Chromecast. Both get the job done, both are pretty cheap, you can even control them from your phone (if you have a smartphone - pc too but not sure about the Roku. I assume so). Only thing I don't like about the like about the Chromecast is that it doesn't autoplay Netflix episodes from your PC (does from the phone though...)

I use my PS3 with OtherOS. Hard to find these days, though. Roku is probably your best bet if you've got no interest in a video game console.

Obtain all your favorite TV shows.
    Look at Plex HTPC software
    Get a HDMI cable.

Ejoy Limitless TV shows on your TV with the best HTPC software available. (and its free!)

I prefer HDMI because it allows me to set my Netflix to the US and watch their shows.
The difference between US and the Netherlands is just depressing sometimes
I just force chromecast to use a US IP with my router.

I have a fire TV it's great but the bad thing about it is there is no way to just search. You can do the voice search for a particular movie or actor but can't just scroll through the library by genre or anything.
