If that was the case the in-game economy would've been ruined. It's pretty much a fact gold in game is pretty finite and quite scarce across the whole population.

All right, gentleperchildren, let's review. The year is 2024 - that's two-zero-two-four, as in the 21st Century's perfect vision - and I am sorry to say the world has become a pussy-whipped, Brady Bunch version of itself, run by a bunch of still-masked clots ridden infertile senile sissies who want the Last Ukrainian to die so they can get on with the War on China, with some middle-eastern genocide on the side

Slipperly slope arguments are pointless to use here as in that case if you could already make that argument for when they added in anything on the cash store. We can also constantly grab to extremes to greatly exaggerate problems it might cause.

There will be a cap on how many time tokens you can own per account all other games do this. Generally it's about 12 = equal to a year.

In any case all issues and concerns that people bring up with this system are not newly created and are present in the current system were it is being done but under a veil of bannable offense. were those that supply that service actually go out their way to intentionally ruin the economy due to mass farming and AH plays making it harder for new people to enter the game and get goods.

So this actually removes some extremes. Downside is more average people try to farm and bot but not to the extremes some do now.

Sure sounds like it. I'm still waiting for all the power items in the cash shop that back in 2008 people said were coming soon because it just makes too much business sense. The sooner people get their collective heads out of their arses the sooner they will realize it is not gold buying, there will not be tons of WoW millionaires once this happens, and there will not be an influx of max geared non raiders.

From a financial point of view they won't sell items of power as that would shortcut their content that they use for people to keep paying their subs. So we don't even have to factor in good faith or anything else just pure good business sense.

The 90 boost came after results of why people left or why they wouldn't return, so that made sense and looking at sub numbers it paid off even if it was just for a short infuse.
