So while I've been playing a bit in Mop, i haven't really raided since early in Dragon Soul and i feel a bit rusty, trying to play anything but assassination feels like a disaster really. I won't be playing combat, but if subtlety is really much better than assassination i might optimize my gear for it instead.
The reason i made this thread is because I'm currently 7/7 normal 6/7 HC, and i feel progression past new year in mythic will require more of me than just playing assassination rogue and checking Shadowcraft now and then (simc seemed very clunky at first look and haven't really used it). So I'm asking for general and personal tips getting into mythic raiding.
You need to prioritize Multi strike in enchants and sockets, I would get at minimal a mark of the frostwolf on your mainhand (better to have 2 frostwolf but can hold out for mythic weapon).
I would need some sub logs to look at your rotation ect... With sub its all about maximizing FW uptime (esp during blust) and overlapping cd's during your SD / SR (good trinket procs + pot).
I'm on the fence with subterfuge or shadow focus, right now I'm going to be doing focus again since learning subterfuge can throw off your internal timings and requires a playstyle change. (pooling energy and timing FW for 2 ambushes).
