Making money on alchemy?

So alchemy doesn't seem to have much for making money this expansion.

In the past the transmutes were worth keeping it.

Anyone having luck with this profession?

I've just been making agi, int and str pots to sell since the herbs cost half as much as each pot sells for. Pretty good mark up.

Alchemy does seem to be suffering right now, flask prices have hit the floor.
I don't get why the draenor trinket for alchemy doesn't have an upgrade tho, since inscriptions trinkets do

They're making changes to the herbs needed to craft flasks though, aren't they? That would make flasks more expensive and thus Alch more profitable.

At this point, alch seems to be a profession to save money, rather than spend it

Sell potions... Like seriously, I don't have alch on my toon but just buying herbs and making pots in my l2 garrison plots made me a decent amount already!

They already made the change. Flasks went from 10-30g per to 50g+ on my server.
