Change from 25man NM to 25man HC in Dragon Soul

Changing from 25 man NM to 25 man HC is working great in ICC but yesterday i tried to do it in Dragon Soul and it didn't work.
I did all bosses on 25 man NM and after Spine, i changed to HC because i wanted HC version of Gurthalak. The chat said that i had changed settings to heroic but when i got loot, it was the normal one. Gurthalak dropped, but not the purple one i wanted. It was ilvl 403 normal version.

So, what happened here? You can't change from NM to HC in Dragon Soul?

Any input would be appreciated.

You need to kill all the bosses in heroic mode in order to be able to do heroic mode spine and deathwing.

for Dragon Soul (IIRC) you must complete the entire instance on Heroic to have a swipe at Heroic Madness.

Oh damn, you are right. I have so many alts that i forget how it works. Not done DS HC on all of them.

One last thing. Does 25 man NM share lockout with 25 man HC? I'm guessing it does right? For DS that is. I know the new raids don't share lockout anymore.
