Graphics issue, with ground details...

Hey guys, running i5 4690k GPU R9 290x.

Everything is maxed out, FPS are perfect.

Having what I think is an issue with how fast the extra ground details show up on my screen.

As I move in the game the ground details such as rocks, extra grass, etc. etc. form only when I get relatively close to them. It gives it an unrealistic feel to it.

I'd like it for these details to ALWAYS be visible.

Are you talking about WoW? That's something Blizzard changed with WoD, since the ultra setting used to show a lot more.
You could try to play a bit with /console groundEffectDist x, where x goes up to 600.
