I haven't seen a single one since the expansion launched either, not sure if it's on purpose or not.

I saw several dropped while leveling in mop/cata/wrath instances, but didn't have the journal. Since then, I have yet to see a single one.

Haven't seen em' drop either. But by now whenever I want something from DMF I buy all the artifacts in advance two or three weeks before it starts, when they're cheap as hell.
