Looking for a hard to find movie help!

Hello i am trying to find the name of this movie but first i think the title is in a foreign language maybe thai but not sure but the actors speak in english. but anyways here is goes.
The story started off as a man and child and woman go to i think its either taiwan and then their son goes missing in a rainstorm then they rent a small boat to i think it maybe thailand and they search for the boy with no luck especially the mother and all i remember of the film is near the end she is searching in the jungle and encountered a tribe that surrounded her.
Please help as trying to think of the film is spinning me out.
