    Cataclysm

Is there ever a time where it's better than Sup for Destro?

Simming says otherwise but Actual fight info is always different

Depends on how much AoE you need.

I've only ever used it on dungeons so far and a few times on Tectus. I've found that when the tank finally rounds up the motes and I get about halfway into casting it I either get selected for Crystal barrage kiting or I have to move to avoid stallagmites O' doom and my line of sight gets blocked forcing me to loose more time to move.

It would be boss on Galakras style fights, anything with regular arrivals of packs of adds. Unfortunately Highmaul has rare pockets of adds where a warlock can mop up on aoe and if they do happen they are brief and far apart.

First of all, getting it off on tectus can be guaranteed with KJC.

2nd of all, Kargath. Pull the entire upstairs, AoE Grip, stun, cata, jump down with crazy amounts of Favor of the Crowd

My guild doesn't send me into the stands because they want the highest dps in guild on the boss and they know I don't F up the fire/rampage mechanic. I'm in a casual 'for fun' guild, but I pug more seriously on the side about an hour a day. Since I am usually on Kargath I go single target for that fight. I will note the tips if I ever get into a pug group that sends me into the stands but I always end up doing Kargath with my guild.

And give up that sweet, sweet Mannoroth's Fury + Immolation Aura?

This thread seems to be about destro, not demo.

Cata is better than Sup for short fights. Once specifically that comes to mind is Mythic butcher. That being said destro is the worst warlock spec for that encounter, but if you are heart set on being destro take Cata.

It's pretty awesome on Ko'ragh, once your tank gets the adds positioned in the circles to be killed just light them up.

Massive trap talent at the moment.

It's better on kargath if you go up, its better on tectus, its better on imperator and maybe ko ragh (probably is tbh) but i play affliction on ko ragh. And if this talent fails because of tanks... its a good time to look for tank replacements.
