I tend to think rape is bad. But in all seriousness this forum has moderation that tends to squash said hot button issues before they get out of hand (except the Gamergate thread but it sort of sorted itself out) for better or worse so that'd be why you don't see many threads on it.

tipping - you mean fedora tipping? Not too big fan of that Kappa! In restaurants/bars/whatever, I just do it because it's customary to do it. If I'm extremely unhappy with quality of service or food or drinks, I'll just round it off, otherwise I'm giving 15% with some rounding going on.

gun control - considering even the authorities (interpol) are finally doing U-turn on this, I don't think this will be an issue much longer. The boneheads in charge are finally realizing that while having armed peasantry isn't good in case of riots, the criminals will obtain weapons even if it is illegal to have them (lol) and the average person might be willing to change establishment for one that might actually allow them to arm themselves, which (especially in the Islamic Europe) seems to be pretty important nowadays.

feminism, rape religion - these two go hand in hand and I have pretty much the same opinion on both. The militant versions of these things (see the football guy having his life ruined after some drunken "rape" BS) are hurting the legitimate issues on these topics.

It seems to be the pet project of some of the less gifted forum dwellers around these parts.
