Yes and no, SA would not mind IS causing instability in large parts of the Middle East. For example running down Assad would be very much in their interest, it would however be a threat to them if IS grew too large to be stopped or if IS would target SA directly in any serious way. Shame, I would love to go to the island of Socotra someday, a most fascinating place.
But then again Yemen has been unstable for a long time already, it's not exactly surprising it got even worse.
