Need a little help with Insanity

So I'm working on learning my offspec, but I can't help but feel like something is going wrong. I was looking at the log below


and comparing it to this log (and some others)

It just feels like the average tick damage of my Insanity is low.

At the moment I'm going MB MSx3 MB Till 4 Orbs, Then MS SWP VT MB DP Insanity MB DP Insanity repeat more or less. I've found that during the Insanity it seems to work better with not cutting the dots off at the end if I can fill a GCD in there with a halo or something. Either way when I look at other logs I'm having a lot less ticks of Insanity and therefore less damage from it. I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong and was wondering if one of you learned shadow priests could help a disc brother out.
