I only watched it for the first time a few years ago, luckily I went into it completely unspoiled though and I thoroughly enjoyed it. the story arcs, the characters, even the special effects for the age of the show are all very good. I'd definitely recommend it
the final season wasn't quite as good (largely due to a last minute reversal of the shows cancellation which had caused them to tie most things up a season earlier than originally planned) but even that was still worth watching. the spin-off had a ton of potential too but sadly was cancelled before having a chance to prove itself, especially since it received severe executive meddling and the episodes were aired out of order
Seasons 2 & 3, and the first half of 4, were fantastic! The rest was okay. You really need to watch from the start though because a lot of season 1 gets referenced in later episodes.
I just started watching it again a few days ago.On season 3 ATM.
Mollari is the best char on the show by far.
Couldnt stop laughing when he tried to kill a bug in his room.
Its evolving right infront of my eyes.
i have to kill it before it develops a language.
And when he was listening to 2 of his wifes having a heated argument.

Was an awesome, intelligent, well planned out series. Some of the races were just great! A shame it all ended!
JUst wanted to give a thanks to whoever started this thread. I started watching this show when this was posted and my GOD! What a great series. They NEED to put this show back on the air in syndication somewhere, I learned so much watching this show and think others could really take away from some of the messages, struggles, and relationships the characters portray. Well at any rate I just wanted to give others a heads up that this show is worth checking out for the GREAT story and impressive makeup and CG (for the time).
Happy new year to all, and to all a good night!
Most people would rather die than think, and most people do. -Bertrand Russell
Before the camps, I regarded the existence of nationality as something that shouldn’t be noticed - nationality did not really exist, only humanity. But in the camps one learns: if you belong to a successful nation you are protected and you survive. If you are part of universal humanity - too bad for you -Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
All right, gentleperchildren, let's review. The year is 2024 - that's two-zero-two-four, as in the 21st Century's perfect vision - and I am sorry to say the world has become a pussy-whipped, Brady Bunch version of itself, run by a bunch of still-masked clots ridden infertile senile sissies who want the Last Ukrainian to die so they can get on with the War on China, with some middle-eastern genocide on the side
I tried watching it, but the show sucked HARD.The CGI was horrid and the actors were a step up from 70's porn. The huge build up is like watching filler eps of a bad anime series.
2/10
You cared enough to post.
B5 is the greatest scifi show made to date. imo
Season 1 is the backstory for the whole show. So just watch that for your background knowledge and then get ready for season 2 fucking awesomeness
