OT: Richmond (London variety), Guildford, Canterbury, York, Hammersmith, Wimbledon Village (not shitty Wimbledon), Edinburgh, Cardiff (though I've only ever been there drunk), Christchurch in Dorset, Ringwood in Hampshire...there are loads of places I like for vastly different reasons.

    Isn't it a Yorkshire saying?

It's usually "Yorkshire born, Yorkshire bred, Strong in t' arm, Thick in t' head", which is how you lot talk.

Doncaster (Sarcasm) but it was where I was born.

    York is great.

I enjoy Peterborough, but mostly because friends.

Manchester is a pretty decent place, but a lot of that is because I loved Afflecks as a kid.

Think I'd have to stick with York as my favourite, though.

Cardiff easily. Clean, not too big so everything is easy to find. Not a fan of big cities like London. Swansea is also a dump, always looks filthy.

It's not just the English they're not fond of. They're not particularly fond of us from down south either. Went to Snowdon when I was a younger and none of my family spoke Welsh except my brother and I... after everyone in the pub switching to Welsh and a few people asking why we were in "their" pub my brother decided to answer them in Welsh. Amusing is an understatement. But obviously this doesn't apply to all Gogs.

    Edinburgh definitely.
'Twas a cutlass swipe or an ounce of lead
Or a yawing hole in a battered head
And the scuppers clogged with rotting red
And there they lay I damn me eyes
    All lookouts clapped on Paradise
All souls bound just contrarywise, yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!

In a completely non-biased approach I vote for Cambridge.

    Because...

    Reasons.

But I liked it when I visited Belfast, followed by Peterborough and finally Norwich where I had an interview once.

Does Isle of Man or Jersey count?

Any of the coastal towns there look pretty comfy.

London most probably. To be honest though, I don't like the cold and damp so Britain doesn't really appeal to me.

Only been to London, so I guess London.

Live in Bristol, quite like it, really enjoy Bath as well, York was fun and so is glastonbury (being a tad... odd)
Dont like London tbh, albeit specific areas can be beautiful.

London for me! Specifically kingston/Richmond area. Never lived in any other city though

I liked Brighton when I visited it, that place was pretty cool.
