He's not just bankrupt, he's like mega, millions in debt bankrupt.
Oh, and this isn't the first time he's filed fore bankruptcy.
Edit: "78 percent of former NFL players go bankrupt or are under financial stress within two years of retirement. Fifty percent of NBA players are broke five years after leaving the league. "

I don't understands how you can make so much money and sink that low. It takes a special kind of derp to let that happen most times. Like...Allen Iverson derp.
Edit:Makes a lot more sense now.The documents show he owes more than $6.7 million to creditors and back child support and alimony. Sapp's $6.45 million in assets includes over 200 pairs of Jordan sneakers.
Some of the players grew up in really poor areas, never had money their entire lives, then were treated like gods in college, given pretty much anything they wanted, then they got millions of dollars when they went pro.
Not exactly a recipe for sucess, and one of the reasons why lottery winners lose it all; they have no idea what to do with money when they get it.
Big reason why money management is a "course" given by teams now.
You're a towel.
I watch a lot of sports shows and I think Warren Sapp seems like a cool guy. I'm not morally against buying sex at all. If the assault is true though I've lost all respect for him.
If it was just paying for sex, I honestly don't care.
