It is possible to do a 2/3 stack rotation, so i would suggest you just take 2 stacks and the monk 3, this should allow you to not be slowed down enough from the 3rd stack that you are unable to move out of slams.

Tanks with a charge has an advantage in the 2nd phase though, as you can entirely avoid getting knocked up by just charging either the boss or one of the hands as it happens.

when not running an ideal comp for any given boss, adapt your strategy/talents/glyphs.

your main goal is to make sure the damage both the raid & tanks take is not too overwhelming, so a combination of movespeed buffs (Feathers, Tiger's Lust, etc) + mitigation is good enough for Heroic Kro. Not quite as good as having Roll or Heroic Leap, but good enough still.

similar to Oregorger, you want to request rotating tank mitigation cooldowns from the raid (Hand of Sac, Pain Suppression, Vigilance, etc) for each Slam, to make sure some strong cooldown of some sort is up for each cast.

and ye, Disc Priests are insane. I would never raid without at least 1. grats on the kill!

Out of interest why 3 stacks for heroic? I've only done the fight on normal so far but we just swapped at 2 and there was always plenty of time.

Because the debuff last longer than the 3rd stack. so its 3 stacks to swap.

Is this different in heroic to normal then?

You can do 3/3 or 2/3 on heroic but not 2/2 similar to how you need each group to take 2 inferno slices on gruul on heroic while you can do 1 on normal. So yes there are some minor differences like that between normal/heroic.

Actually you can and should only take 1 inferno slice stack per group on gruul on heroic. The need to do 2 stacks is misinformation left over from beta.

Sure about that? We tried that last week and didn't work so we had to do 2 and just did again this week, either way doesn't really matter that much. Point was that there are minor differences like that from normal->heroic in timings.

1-1-1-1 works on heroic. Just did it last week, and 5 hours ago without a problem.
