Not sure what to discuss, but here's my opinion on it:

- Not all pedophiles are child molesters.
- All pedophiles are possible child molesters, and should as such be kept out of any position that facilitates it.
- We need to figure out if faux child porn reduces or increases the risk of molesting.
- Pedophilia should be treated as a sexuality (i.e. not the fault of the individual) but not condoned.
- Treatment options should be available and free.
- Facilitating, ignoring or otherwise being involved in any form of child abuse should have harsh punishments (i.e. church leaders not reporting).

And then there's the "we don't even know what percentage of the population are pedophiles" but then links to a survey that shows 18 percent of the males taking it were pedos.

And in just the first post after the OP, you've confirmed exactly what the article was stating, and pretty much what's wrong with humanity. Wishing death on an individual with a problem and doesn't act on what his wiring tells him to do. What is wrong with you dude? Can you not control your feels?

No one is stating pedophiles are fine or that child molesters need love too. Pedophiles just so happen to be attracted to children, it's shitty, but not all of them act on the urge. Who knows? There might be some who lived their whole lives fighting the urge and died without touching a single child. Wishing death on them makes you about just as sick.

What a foul, ghastly reflection on the unfortunate individuals in question. Let it be apparent to you that they do not necessarily wish to have any sexual relations, but have a romantic desire toward children who have not reached puberty, akin to how the rest of us have such romantic, or sexual, desires toward others. It is, surely, not acceptable to turn the desires into actions on their part, for prepubescent children cannot consent, and should therefore be protected. That certainly gives us no right to harm individuals who have done nothing to act on their desires. They ought to be helped, and hopefully we can find a cure for them. I'll note that about 1.5-3% of people have attractions to prepubescent children, if a study I read is not mistaken. Do you wish to get rid of them all? I hope not.

We just told our parents "I'm going out" and we'd be gone for hours, our parents not knowing - or even really caring that much - where we were. Yet, apparently, no more of us were molested or killed than today.

Dont really wish anyones death tbh, just kinda puts it into perspective that we can continue down that path of wishing death upon one another for no good reason.
But, she got no reason to wish death upon innocent people, same as i got no reason to wish death upon her.

By your logic we should also hope that all gay people die an early death as they are born with preferences that go against the "normal" way of things. They are attracted to children with no fault of their own...I feel for them as long they haven't touched a child.
