Corsair *used* to have good units, imo.

I feel like ever since they essentially started trying to brand out and such... is when they started going downhill. Their keyboards and AIOs seem to be ripe with firmware issues, new and old. =/ I just simply don't trust them like I used to. And their CX line of PSUs is not at all trustworthy...

This coming from a guy who foolishly has one in his Minecraft server with some old AMD card and i7-920. :P

Well, Corsair still has some good units. It's their AXi line with Flextronic OEMs. Flextronic is also a great server grade PSU OEM. That said they're expensive as hell. Other lines are a bit lack luster...

I feel like there was a time where Corsair's entire lineup was of higher quality standards than it is now. They used to care about all PSU price points, not just the mid-high to high. =/ Now it's hard to trust TX, CX, etc lines... when they used to be very trustworthy.

Thus I am thinking of sticking to brands that actually make their PSUs from the ground up, i.e. Superflower (if I recall right), SeaSonic, and Flextronic.

    OEMs that I look for.
    SeaSonic
    Delta
    Flextronic
    Superflower

Delta like Flextronic is a server grade OEM.

Others I'm not so knowledgeable about.

Corsair's more budget line has really gone down in quality.
